Growing up I was always the smallest kid on the team. I started high school weighing 110lbs and barely saw playing time. I was always having to compete with guys that were just flat out bigger and stronger than me, and even though I had good skills, coaches never gave me a chance.
My junior year of high school, I realized my career was going nowhere fast. I decided to get some help and was able to put on 20lbs and drop my 60 time down from a 7.6 to a 6.8. My coaches took notice and I earned a starting spot on a team with 15 college commits.
Ultimately, I had the options to play JUCO or D2 baseball, which I never would dreamed was possible several years earlier. Due to COVID, I decided to hang up the cleats and earned my degree in Exercise Physiology from Northern Arizona University.
I now am in the final year of my Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree, and have been able to use all the knowledge I've gained from research and the best coaches in the country, to help players from all over the world live out their dreams of playing baseball at the next level.
